Carmen Calvo is a Spanish artist born in Valencia. She studied at the Schools of Arts and Crafts and Fine Arts in Valencia and graduated in advertising in 1970. Calvo received scholarships from the Ministry of Culture, Casa de Velázquez in Madrid, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for her residence in Paris.

She has received several distinctions and awards for her artwork, including the I LaSalle Seiko Painting Prize of Barcelona, the Alfons Roig of the Diputación Valenciana, and the selection for the XLVII Biennial of Venice. Calvo has exhibited her artwork individually in various cities in Spain, the United States, Europe, America, and Africa.
