    Charles Burr Walker

    Located in the heart of the rich hunting area of the Illinois River, the Princeton Game and Fish Club was established in 1884. Very selective, it has a membership limited to 50, each of which must be a resident of Bureau County.

    Charles Burr Walker 1873 – 1953 was a lifelong resident of Princeton, Illinois and an avid sportsman. As a young man, he managed to join the Princeton Club in 1902 with share No 32 but, as the demands of raising a young family continued to increase, he was forced to relinquish his membership in 1910 when the cost became too prohibitive.
