    A student of Patrick Tuohy's at the Dublin Metropolitan School of Art and brother of the sculptor and medallist, Lawrence Campbell (1911-1964), Christopher Campbell (1908-1972) is best remembered as a figure painter and stained glass artist.

    He worked for a period in Harry Clarke's studio and later taught art at the Kilkenny Technical School (1947-1951). A regular exhibitor at the RHA, Christopher Campbell's only solo exhibition was held posthumously at the Neptune Gallery, Dublin, in 1976. He contributed many illustrations to The Capuchin Annual in the 1950s to 1960s. ...
