    Cirilo Martínez Novillo was a Spanish painter who was part of the School of Madrid. He began his training at the School of Arts and Crafts in Madrid and later attended the Escuela Superior de Pintura where he studied under Daniel Vázquez Díaz.

    He exhibited his work for the first time in 1946 and went on to participate in several group exhibitions in Spain and abroad. His painting style was aesthetically close to that of the Second School of Vallecas, and he mainly focused on landscape painting and still lifes. His works are represented in several museums and collections in Spain
