    Claude Le Sauteur CM, CQ, RCA (1926 – 2007)

    A prominent Canadian painter, illustrator, printmaker and advertising executive, Claude Le Sauteur was born in Rivière-Pentecôte, Quebec, grew up in Trois-Rivières, Quebec and died in Les Éboulements (Charlevoix region), Quebec where he had lived since 1978. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts* (RCA), a Chevalier of the Order of Quebec (CQ), and a Member of the Order of Canada* (CM). His works are in several museum collections including the Montreal Museum of Contemporary art and the Quebec Museum of Fine Arts.

    His mediums included oil paint, pastel, charcoal, serigraph, lithograph, book illustration, corporate logos, postage stamps and advertising art. His subjects...
