    Colette Mills, American, Irish (1934-2014)

    Colette Mills lived and had her studio in Bandon, Co. Cork, Ireland. She was a realist with an eye for detail and a feel for atmosphere. She painted the figure, landscape and still life. Her preferred mediums were oil and watercolours.

    Mills studied with two noted American artists, Robert Brackman (National Academy of Design) and Jade Fon (American Watercolour Society.) She taught at the St. Brogan’s Vocational School in Bandon, Co. Cork, Ireland.
