About Cynthia Packard

    Working from a studio in Provincetown, Massachusetts, Cynthia Packard creates impressionist figure and landscape paintings in sizes ranging from miniature to 6 feet by 6 feet. Her family heritage has artists including Max Bohm, her great grandfather, and her mother Anne Packard who is a well-known landscape and seascape painter in the Provincetown area.

    She was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and raised in Princeton, New Jersey. She graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art with a degree in sculpture and moved to Provincetown in 1980.

    She paints seven days a week for many hours each day and produces several hundred paintings a year. She also is the mother of four children including the coaching of three children's baske...
