    Polish artist Czeslaw Rzepinski was born in Strusów near Trembowla in 1905.

    Rzepinski began studies at the Free School of Painting Ludwika Mehofferowa in 1923. Then he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in 1925-1929, and finally at the Paris Department of the Academy of Fine Arts, run by prof. Józef Pankiewicz.

    From 1931 he exhibited with the group "Zwornik". In the years 1945 to 1947 he was the president of ZPAP. Rzepinski also worked as a teacher.

    He taught courses for drawing teachers in the Krzemieniecki Secondary School (1935-1939), and from 1945 until his retirement in 1973 he lectured at his alma mater, from 1948 as a professor. In the years 1954-1967 he was the rector ...
