Daniel Behrendt, who was born in Stendal in 1980, is a carpenter studying liberal arts at the Fachhochschule Ottersberg as well as at the Hochschule für Künste in Bremen. From 2008 to 2009, he is a masterclass with Prof. Karin Kneffel.

Daniel Behrendt's representations of inconspicuous sections of the city landscape, which are loosened from their context, are characterized by a sculptural silence and almost iconic presence.
