Danil A. Danil studied painting at the Higher School of Fine Arts in Athens and then followed free courses in France and in Italy. He mainly painted landscapes and portraits, using a expressionistic type property. He presented his work individually (Mykonos 1955, 1957, 1964, 1968, Zachariou 1972, 1978 etc.) and took part in several group exhibitions as well. In 1972 he taught drawing as an assistant professor in the Higher School of Fine Arts in Athens.
