Diamond Bozas was born at Isipingo. He studied at the Chelsea School of Art, London.

He was a founder member and Chairperson of the Zululand Society of Arts. During the 1980s, Bozas was largely responsible for the establishment of the TEACH Museum in Empangeni and he served on the Advisory Board of that museum. He was a primer mover in the building of the new VM in 2001 in Eshowe.

Bozas has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions in South Africa and is represented in public and private collections in the country.

He currently lives in Eshowe. (2019).
