    Son of the famous Mexican artist Francisco Toledo and the poet and anthropologist Elisa Ramírez Castañeda, Jerónimo López Ramírez, better known as Dr. Lakra, is an outstanding artist both in the context of contemporary art and in the art of tattooing. His work is characterized by creating images irreverent and quite provocative, which transgress the academic rules. His work intervenes with drawings, stamps, posters, magazines and postcards. Most of the women that appear in his work are from past times, generally from the 50's, generating in these pieces a congruent eroticism mixed with the popular and black humor. He has experimented with taboos and fetishes from his interests in anthropology and ethnography.
