    Edward Onslow Ford was a British sculptor born in 1852 and died in 1901. He initially trained as a painter at Antwerp Academy but later turned to sculpture while studying in Munich.

    Ford created numerous busts of famous personalities as well as monumental works and monuments. Edward's most famous statues include "Folly", "The Singer" or “Applause”. He was also the first British sculptor to make small replicas of his sculptures.
