    Friedrich Adolf Eilmar Baron von Eschwege, Germany landscape - , animal - and historical - and genre painter (1856 Braunschweig until 1935 Oberweimar), studied 1877 - 82 at the Weimar art school at Albert Brendel and Alexander Struys 1882 - 83. Studies at the Munich academy, 1883 training at the Academy of Dresden and master student of Ferdinand Pauwels, here in 1890 appointed professor and in Dresden - Blasewitz resident later appeal to Weimar 1899 - 1906 stays in the artists' colony Dachau, had lived since 1889 in Weimar, in the between 1892 and 1904.

    He also made templates for school books published Velhagen & Klasing, a member of the Weimar Art Association, the General German art cooperative in the National Association of visual Artists of Germany
