    The Viennese painter Emil Beischläger mainly painted landscapes, portraits and still lifes. He also worked as a graphic artist. Until 1933, he exhibited at the Vienna Secession. In 1939, he was admitted as a member of the Vienna Künstlerhaus, often presenting his works there.

    In addition to private collections in the USA, the Czech Republic, Mexico, England, Switzerland, Sweden and Japan, his works are displayed in the municipal collections of Vienna, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Arts, the City of Vienna, the Lower Austrian Provincial Museum and the Municipal Collection in Linz.
