Qianlong [aka:Qian Longdi, Longdi Qian, Ch’ien-lung, Chundi, Gaozong, Hongli ] Emperor of Qing Dynasty (1711 – 1799)

Qianlong (born September 25, 1711, China—died February 7, 1799, Beijing) was the fourth emperor of the Qing (Manchu) dynasty (1644–1911/12) whose six-decade reign (1735–96) was one of the longest in Chinese history. The role of Qianlong in the arts and letters of his time was probably a considerable one.
