Nevertheless, he may never have been fully acquainted with the appreciation and recognition he deserves. Perhaps it is because he was not born in Sweden, perhaps because his artistic aesthetics feels more international than Swedish, perhaps because in his creation and in his compositions he personalizes an individuality we have rarely seen.
