    Ernestine Tahedl studied at the Academy of Applied Arts at Carl Unger. In 1963 she emigrated to Canada.

    As the leading glass artist she was commissioned in 1967 to design the Canadian pavilion for the Expo in Montreal. Since the 1980s, she turned increasingly to painting.

    They continued the art-historical positions of Turner and Monet and unfolded a lyrical and expressive, impressionist style in their landscapes.
