    Eso Peluzzi was an Italian artist who studied at the Accademia Albertina in Turin under Paolo Gaidano and Giacomo Grosso. He later turned to the pointillist technique and created works inspired by the landscape and rural life of the Savona province, as well as portraits with a remarkable psychological introspection. Peluzzi's paintings were characterized by a delicate balance that gave his works a soft tone imbued with veiled melancholy, achieved through a skilful chromatic formulation and a sure stroke.
