    Eugen Urbanski of Nieczuya was born in 1888 and died in 1955. An artist known for his romantic images of women, Urbanski particularly liked the time of sunsets, during which he immortalized the silhouettes of elegant ladies walking along the winding paths of parks.

    Another favorite motif of Eugen Urbanski was the use of ornamental stained glass and patterned fabrics as a background. His paintings show clear influences of the Art Nouveau and were inspired by the paintings of Edward Okun and Kazimierz Stabrowski.

    Urbanski's works are on display at the Museum of Art in Lódz and on many postcards published by the Krakow-based Publishing House of the Salon of Polish Painters. Eugen is proficient in showing luminous effe...
