    Eva Boeddinghaus studied from 1953 to 1955 at the Technical School for Arts and Crafts, 1956-1964 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin, where she was a master student of Schmidt-Rottluff.  Since 1964 she has been a freelance artist in Berlin.

    The New National Gallery, the Berlin Senate and collectors from home and abroad have acquired works from her. Characteristic of Böddinghaus' style are the black outlines that delimit the objects to each other. Clearly it shows a commitment to Expressionism in their work, but developed it further sovereign by their shapes are soft and flowing.
