    Trained in Madrid, Francisco Llorens was awarded an honorary mention at the National Exhibition of 1895, and in 1903 he obtained a pension to further his studies in Rome. He also visited the Netherlands, and continued to participate in the National Exhibitions, being awarded a third medal in 1907.

    Later he will also obtain second medal (1908) and first (1922), titles that are added to others obtained in the International of Barcelona (1907), the International of Buenos Aires (1910) and the Universal of Panama (1916). He was also Grand Cross of the Crown of Belgium and honorary member of the Salón de Otoño, as well as a full member of the Real Academia de San Fernando since 1943.
