    A draughtsman and painter, Francisco Sancha specialized in landscapes and portraits, although he also tackled many other subjects. He trained at the Fine Arts Schools of San Telmo in Malaga and San Fernando in Madrid, with Joaquin Martinez de la Vega in the former and Jose Moreno Carbonero in the latter.

    In 1899, Lengo settled in Paris, where he worked as a contributor to the magazines "Frou-Frou", "Le Rire" and "Le Cri de Paris". In 1812, Lengo moved to London, and he extended his activity to furniture design and decorative painting, in addition to collaborating with various publications.
