In 1973 he settled in Lerici (La Spezia) where the following year he opened his first solo, which officially began his intense artistic activity. Also in 1974, he inaugurated in Milan a studio-gallery. In 1977 he began a series of travels in the Far East about the most ancient traces of civilization, followed, in subsequent years, by major travel in the US, the Seychelles, Brazil and Greece.
