About Frantisek Xaver Diblik

    Czech painter and graphic artist (1887 Nalžovice - 1955 Prague), studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, first under Vlaho Bukovac, then under Hanuš Schwaigra, in WW1 military service for the Czechoslovakian army. He served in the Czechoslovak legions in Italy during the First World War. During his stay, he designed the regimental banners of the Czechoslovak legions in Italy, from 1925 to 1943 member of the Association of Fine Artists and the Syndicate of Czechoslovak Fine Artists, regular exhibitions in Prague and other cities.
