Franz Gaudeck 1889 Grimma - 1946 Kreischa Attended the elementary schools in Köhra and Nauenhof. Then studied for six years at the teacher training college in Waldenburg. 1910-12 Worked as a village school teacher in Amtshainersdorf and Porschdorf. Then began studying at the State Academy of Arts and Crafts in Dresden under Erler, Hermann, and Seyffert. 1914 State examination for the art teaching profession at secondary schools. Worked as an art teacher at the Zwickau Teacher Training College. Subsequently appointed to the Fletscher Seminar (later: Freiherr von Fletscher School) in Dresden, where he taught for over 20 years. Numerous exhibitions followed. 1925 Trip to Italy. 1933 Study visits to Paris, Austria, the Netherlands, ...
