    Franz Johann Müller-Gossen, a German artist, was born in 1871 in Mönchengladbach, Germany. He was primarily active in Mönchengladbach but also spent time in Zurich, Düsseldorf, and Hamburg during his career. Müller-Gossen was known for his landscape and marine paintings. He briefly studied under Heinrich Lauenstein at the Düsseldorf Academy in the early 1890s. He passed away in 1946 in Lausanne, Switzerland.
