Fred Leach studied at the Butler Institute of American Art and the Cleveland Institute of Art. He was elected a lifetime member of the American Watercolor Society in 1964 and was awarded the Dolphin Fellowship in 1980. His paintings are in numerous public and private collections including the Butler Institute of American Art, Springfield Art Museum, Zanesville Art Institute, and others. Fred Leach passed away in 2006.
