    Fridel Edelmann, later known as Fridel Dethleffs-Edelmann, was born in Hagsfeld, Germany, at the end of the 19th century. She studied painting in Karlsruhe and became one of the first female students at the School of Art there. Edelmann focused on still life painting, particularly floral arrangements, and married a factory owner from Isny im Allgau. During World War II, she helped run her husband's family business. Her style featured detailed flower arrangements in glass vases, often with pastoral landscapes in the background. After the war, her career flourished, and she received the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 1973. She passed away in 1982 in Isny im Allgau....
