    Born in East Prussia Frederick William Meyer studied after moving in 1902, first at the Municipal School of Applied Arts until 1928 student of Max Beckmann at the Städel School in Frankfurt

    1933 fell his works the book burning at Römerberg victim.

    1934 gave him the Nazi prohibition.

    1939 died his two children for unknown reasons in Frankfurt Clementine Children's Hospital.

    1968 undertook Friedrich Wilhelm Meyer a trip to Paris; still in the same year he died in Frankfurt am Main. Friedrich Wilhelm Meyer, a master student of Beckmann and "degenerate artist" is one of the undiscovered masters of classical modernism.
