    Fritz Wagner was born in 1896. He was a genre painter, and student of Karl Roth and Robert Seitz in Munich. He was influenced by Hiasl Maier-Erding. Fritz Wagner was active in Munich and Frauenchiemsee.

    Wagner went on study trips to Italy, Hungary, and Romania. He drew inspiration from Max Gaisser (1857-1922) and his Dutch interiors, and made monk portraits in the manner of Eduard von Grützner (1846-1925). Wagner was a member of the National Association of visual Artists of Germany....
