    A German painter, draftsman and lithographer. Born in Düsseldorf, Georg Hambüchen studied there from 1916 at the School of Applied Arts and from on 1918 at the Art Academy, which he left in 1923 as a master student of Carl Eder. Hambüchen went on study trips to Holland, Belgium, the North Sea and the Lower Rhine and was a member of various artists' associations. He is one of the representatives of the Rhinish Impressionism and created especially landscapes and marine images. (fea)...
