    Georg Tyrahn, born in 1860 in Königsberg, Germany, was an artist who studied at the Academy of Königsberg and later at the Académie Julian in Paris under the influence of Ferdinand Keller. He continued his painting studies in Karlsruhe and eventually settled there in 1892, teaching at the Karlsruhe painting school. Tyrahn gained recognition for his charming genre paintings like "The First Birthday" and lively portraits. He exhibited successfully in cities like Berlin, Munich, and Vienna, earning an excellent reputation for his work.
