    Gideon (Gidi) Rubin, a painter born in Israel in 1973, is known for his realist style paintings featuring faceless figures with blurred facial features. After experiencing the 9/11 tragedy in New York, Rubin's painting style underwent a significant change, leading to a focus on facelessness in his works. He holds a bachelor's degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York and a master's degree from the Slade School of Fine Art in London. Currently residing in London, Rubin is represented by galleries worldwide, including Karsten Greve in Paris. His latest solo exhibition was "Substance to Shadows" at Anat Ebgi, Los Angeles in 2023, and he has participated in various group exhibitions internationally....
