    Giuseppe Gronchi was an Italian sculptor from Florence who flourished in the early 20th century. He was influenced by sculptors such as Auguste Rodin and Vincenzo Gemito, and later updated his style to the archaism of Émile-Antoine Bourdelle, with Decò influences and Liberty sinuosity. He created friezes, decorative masks, and tiles for the Savoia theater in Florence, as well as commemorative works for Florentine cemeteries, including tombstones and monuments dedicated to the fallen of the First World War. He participated in the decoration of the Milano Centrale station and executed the advertising fountain for Campari. He also participated in the decoration of the National Central Library in Florence.
