About Gonzalo Torrico Pardo

  • Biography

    He studied at the School of Plastic Arts of the City of Cochabamba, Bolivia, later moved to Mexico, where he settled for the rest of his life. Here, he released his first works, which were well accepted by a certain group of Mexican gallerists. Mexican culture and traditions were the main influences in the work of Torrico, because his taste for the exotic led him to meet some indigenous populations, from which he discovered the beauty of nature that surrounds them, their food, clothing and all kinds of custom.
