    Graham Murray was born in Glasgow and studied at Glasgow School of Art. He lived and painted in various countries before returning to Glasgow in 1938. During the war years, he taught in Clydebank and befriended Stanley Spencer. Murray exhibited in London, Manchester, and Scotland, showcasing his unique futurist cityscapes. In 1985, he moved to Berkshire with his second wife, where his landscapes and flower studies were highly sought after. His works can be found in the Art Gallery & Museum, Kelvingrove, and in private collections worldwide.
