About Gregory Eiselein

  • Biography

    Gregory Eiselein, born in Roundup, Montana in 1945, was raised on a working cattle ranch in the Little Snowy Mountains. In his estimation, it was a privilege to have lived and worked in the mountains and prairies that surrounded his home. As a youth he was taken by the area's diverse land, flora and fauna and studied it endlessly. Greg's artist inclinations surfaced early; his talents were further cultivated at Eastern Montana College. During his art studies in Billings, Montana he was greatly influenced by art instructor Ben Steele, who to this day remains a close friend.
