    Guillermo Gómez Gil was a Spanish painter born in Malaga. He trained under Emilio Ocón y Rivas, Federico Ferrándiz, and Antonio Muñoz Degrain, specializing in landscape painting, particularly marine landscapes. He won several awards and medals for his works, including at the National Exhibition of Fine Arts in Madrid. He became a teacher at the Seville School of Arts and Industries in 1910 and spent time in Cadiz. His works are known for their refined technique and sensitivity, particularly in the depiction of the reflection of the sun and moon on the surface of the sea. He is represented in several museums in Spain, including the Museo del Prado and the Museo de Bellas Artes de Sevilla.
