U Lun Gywe is a Grand Art Master in Myanmar, whose work is increasingly gaining traction in the international art market. Having painted for over half a century, he studied under various renowned artists in Myanmar, such as Saya U Thein Han, from 1958 to 1964.

After this period of tutelage, he received the rare chance of going to the Central Art Academy in Beijing for a year, studying Eastern Chinese art and philosophy of fine arts.
