    German painter, draughtsman, and graphic artist. Painter, draughtsman, graphic artist, poster designer, ex-libris artist, silhouette cutter, illustrator and sculptor (1868 Düsseldorf - 1922 Munich), son and pupil of Heinrich Deiters (1840-1916), studied 1885-95 at the Düsseldorf Academy under Heinrich Lauenstein, Hugo Crola, Peter Janssen the Elder, Adolf Schill and Julius Roeting, master pupil of Eduard von Gebhardt, after 1895 stay in Paris, here influenced by Charles Sprague Pearce, Pierre Puvis de Chavannes and master student of Raphaël Collin, subsequently turned to Symbolism, travelled to France, Italy and England, contributed to the Munich magazine "Jugend", member of the Düsseldorf artists' association "Malkasten", the ...
