    Hans Ekegårdh began his career successfully in music. For six years he studied at the Academy of Music in Stockholm and then traveled to Paris in 1902 where he continued his education and then advanced to the first violinist. But soon it was instead, art that attracted Ekegårdh.

    He started painting and first exhibited his works at the Autumn Salon in 1908. He then remained living in Paris all his life but also lived parallel out in Sweden. As an artist, it was also in France where Ekegårdh belonged.

    Among his motives, we find elegant moments depicted in famous sites such as the Place de la Concorde, the inspiration taken from the impressionists such as André Derain. But ...
