    Hans Hassenteufel: born in Hamburg on 01.27.1887 - died in 1943. German painter and graphic artist. Based in Munich.

    Studies with Rudolf Zeller in Hamburg, a member of the painting school in Munich W. Thor and Peter Halm and Franz von Stuck at the Munich academy.

    He painted portraits, figurative (especially nudes), landscapes, still lifes, religious paintings.

    He painted the altar painting Gethsemane, in the Church of the Protestant Community of Munich-Westend. Solo exhibition in 1934 at the Galerie Commeter in Hamburg.
