    Helmuth Macke, a German painter, was born in 1891 in Krefeld, Germany. He was the cousin of the renowned artist August Macke. Macke studied at the Krefeld School of Crafts and Arts and Crafts under Jan Thorn-Prikker from 1906 to 1909. He was acquainted with artists such as Franz Marc, Erich Heckel, and the artists of the Blauer Reiter and Brücke movements. Macke participated in the First German Autumn Salon in 1913 and was active in Krefeld and Bonn from 1925 onwards. He spent time in Ascona in 1930, where he interacted with artists like Marianne von Werefkin and Christian Rohlfs. Macke won the Rome Prize in 1929 and had a stay at the Villa Massimo, where he engaged with artists such as Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, Heinrich Ehmsen, and Georg SchrVollmer...
