Despite lacking formal artistic training, his captivating works in linocut and auto-zincography earned him recognition from audiences and cultural institutions in Lódz. Plóciennik's rich compositions, characterized by order, harmony, and attention to detail, depict an imagined world that speaks of the cosmos and the universe. He was admitted to the Association of Polish Visual Artists in 1962 and spent his life working as a painter, graphic artist, and artist in Lódz.
