In 1875 he graduated from high school and began his studies in liberal arts at Halle University. Subsequently he worked as a teacher, also obtaining a Ph.D. in French. After the war of 1870/71, a French Officer, living at his parents' house noticed the young boy's talent and gave him some watercolors. In 1875 he graduated from high school and began his studies in liberal arts at Halle University. Subsequently he worked as a teacher, also obtaining a Ph.D. in French. Not satisfied with the life of a teacher, he went to Berlin and began a course of study at the "Hochschule Fuer Bildende Kuenste" (until 1885), with the financial support of his brother and sister. In 1895 he found full employment and married Marie Cramer von Clausbruch. Hermann Seeger died on February 23, 1945 before... Read full biography

In 1875 he graduated from high school and began his studies in liberal arts at Halle University. Subsequently he worked as a teacher, also obtaining a Ph.D. in French. Not satisfied with the life of a teacher, he went to Berlin and began a course of study at the "Hochschule Fuer Bildende Kuenste" (until 1885), with the financial support of his brother and sister.
In 1895 he found full employment and married Marie Cramer von Clausbruch.
