    Hermine von Preuschen was a German painter and poet who lived from the late 19th to the early 20th century. She studied with Ferdinand Keller in Karlsruhe at the age of fifteen and later traveled extensively throughout Europe, North Africa, India, Cambodia, and Burma. After a failed marriage and the death of her second husband, she changed her name from Hermione to Hermione and called her property in Berlin-Lichtenrade "Tempio Hermione". She received personalities from all over the world in her villa with its spacious park and its own art gallery, where she worked primarily as a painter and poet.
