Lu Hsien-Ming was born in Taipei in 1959 and graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, Chinese Culture University. During school, he formed "Taipei Painting Society" with some fellows and was the Leader of 1993. Lu's works of metropolitan reality create a vivid style that no one can compete with.
He chooses painting subjects from the changing metropolis and takes Taipei's overpass for a series of creation, such as skyscraper, construction steel, and rampant overpass.
