His first one man show was in Solidaridad Gallery in 1971. Among his outstanding works include the 21-foot mural for the Philippine Pavillion at the NY World's fair of 1964. In 1977, he formed the Tuesday Portrait club with Legaspi, Olmedo, and five other artists, it was so called because the artists held regular Tuesday portrait sessions for sitters.
