    Hiacynt Alchimowicz (1841 - 1897) Hyacinth Alchimowicz (1841 - 1897) was the brother of the painter Kazimierz Alchimowicz. He graduated from high school in Vilnius, Lithuania. In 1864 he emigrated to France and settled in Perpignan.

    In 1872 he began painting studies in Perpignan and later in Paris, where he became acquainted with Michal Elwiro Andriolli. He also used the guidance of Brother Casimir, who was in France in 1876-1878.

    In 1876 he became a professor of drawing at a high school in Perpignan, later teaching at a local high school and polytechnic school. In 1892 he was awarded the title "Officier d'Académie" for his educational work.
